The whole administration is often inconsistent in even saying who is doing what. Dodge does something, Trump says Dodge did it, a department head says they don’t know, and they tell the court something else….

This is something worth writing your congressman about. Even if you trust Trump for some reason, we have given the office of president plenty of power to do the job assigned.
They are asking for more confidentiality than anyone being accused of being "deep state" ever did.
